It was indeed a successful and wonderful brainstorming session for a youth driven group aimed at galvanizing massive support for the actualization of Asiwaju Bola Tinubu's presidential ambition.
The group tagged "Youths Movement for Asiwaju Tinubu's Agenda" (YOMATA) who had youths drawn across the federation met in Oshodi, Lagos to discuss about how the youths can get onboard on the Asiwaju's train and positively sway things differently in a dynamic way.
The Coordinator of the group, Comrade Mayowa Alakija, while addressing members noted that "there is need for us to change the narrative and correct the negative impression that Nigerian youths are not for Asiwaju. Some people, because of their selfish agenda, have been misleading the general public that the youths are not supportive of Asiwaju's presidential ambition". We are here to change the narrative says the Coordinator.
He continued that "this is a lie and in the following weeks and months, we shall galvanize youths across the length and breadth of this country to show the people that indeed, Nigerian youths are sympathetic to Asiwaju's course".
Ideas and suggestions were proffered and strategies were piloted on how best to actualise the assignments at hand. It should be recalled that YOMATA is a youth movement with the aim of massively supporting Asiwaju's ambition by all legal means possible, even to the extent of personal financial commitment with a bid to demand good governance from him when elected by God's grace 2023.
