In adherence to his THEMES agenda, commitment to good governance, genuine love for the citizenry and the need to make medical services accessible to all regardless of location,Gov.Babajide Sanwo-Olu has launched a floating clinic boat for inland waterways medical emergency and riverine communities.The launching of the floating clinic boat is the first in Nigeria.
The executive chairman of Oshodi-Isolo local government, Otunba Kehinde Almaroof Oloyede, eulogized the Governor for being innovative, proactive and sensitive to the medical plights and demands of Lagosians living around the riverine communities.He noted that this effort of the governor to increase access to qualitative and efficient health care services on the waterways and riverine communities is a bold step in the right direction and that will save a lot of lives.
The commendation message which was released by his media office reads in part: " I was delighted to receive the news that Mr. Governor just launched a floating clinic boat that will cater for medical emergencies and services of Lagosians around riverine communities.
This is a lofty idea that shows the foresight and innovative thinking of the Governor.He has once again made Lagos the pacesetter state within the country.This is just another initiative to further add to the integrated emergency and rescue system.
His love for the wellbeing of Lagosians cut across all sectors and he should be commended for his resolve to take Lagos to the next level Infrastructural wise.Welldone Mr.Governor, you have written your name on a platter of gold".
Oloyede however, urged citizens to make judicious use of the equipment and ensure its aim are achieved.
