Oshodi-Isolo Local Government chairman, Oloyede, kicks- off Reconciliatory Moves Amongst Warring Party Members

 

In preparation for the coming general elections, the executive chairman of Oshodi-Isolo local government, Otunba Kehinde Almaroof Oloyede, has kick-started reconciliatory moves amongst warring members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) within his local government.


Oloyede who received an APC stalwart in Oshodi, Hon. Adebanji Atewogboye Gbeleyi (aka Skibanj) disclosed that all aggrieved party members need to shield their swords and work for the collective interest of the party in the coming general elections.

ted that "I am happy that you are here today in the spirit of party supremacy and oneness. Now that the primary elections are gone, it is imperative we all come together and galvanized our resources towards a united front. In the coming days and weeks, my humble self, the party hierarchies at our local government and our flag bearers will be reaching out to all party members regardless of their group or affiliation, with a view to bringing everyone onboard."


The council chair appreciated the doggedness and dexterity of Mr Adebanji, noting that he needs to pay more attention to the grassroot because politics is local. He averred that his being a youth, he has a bright future if he could focus more on his locality.


Hon. Atewogboye appreciated the chairman for the warm reception he received, stating that he is ready to compliment the efforts of the council chairman and other party faithful in working for the success of the party in the coming election. He promised to mobilize massively so that the party's flag bearers across the board can emerge victorious.


The meeting also had in attendance the party's candidate for the Lagos State House of Assembly, Oshodi-Isolo Constituency 1, Otunba Stephen Ogundipe (Omojomolo).
