It was a glorious day at the Oshodi-Isolo local government secretariat on Monday as the council chairman, Otunba K
ehinde Almaroof Oloyede, represented by the Secretary to the Local government, Mr Smart Akinleye led others in a prayer session for the Lagos State governor, Mr Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu on his 57th birthday celebrations.
The council chairman, in his congratulatory message to the governor ,described him as workaholic, dedicated and committed governor.
The prayer session had the Muslim and christian versions as the clerics showered blessings on the governor as he celebrates another birthday.
Otunba Oloyede while thanking God for the birthday celebration of the the state governor, urged residents to troop out en masse to get their permanent voters card.
He prayed for long life and prosperity for the governor and also prayed for continued success of the governor in office.
He assured the governor of his continued support to actualize his second term in office come 2023 general elections.
He said; "With gratitude to God almighty, we celebrate our amiable workaholic and committed governor on the occasion of his 57th birthday.
The good people of our local government celebrate the governor today and always. We pray for God's continued blessings on you always.
"As the 2023 elections draws closer, we assure you of our continued support and mobilisation of our people to get their PVCs and cast their votes for the APC in the general elections."
