The Oshodi-Isolo local government constituency 1 House of Assembly candidate of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), Otunba Stephen Kayode Ogundipe, has mourn the death of former Lagos commissioner for Women Affairs and Poverty Alleviation, Chief Mrs Kemi Nelson.
Ogundipe, popularly called Omojomolo, in a condolence message described the death of the South West Women Leader of the APC as devastating, shocking and great loss to the ruling party.
The LAHA candidate said Nelson's leadership prowess will be missed by the party hierarchies in no small measures.
He said; "the announcement of the passing-on of Mrs. Kemi Nelson was ashocking one to me as it was broke, her demise has left a big vaccum for us to fill in the party especially for the people of Ikeja where she was until her death as the apex leader. She was a virtuous woman who lived an exemplary life worthy of emulation by all."
