The Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), Oshodi-Isolo local government chapter has condoles with the executive chairman of the local government, Otunba Kehinde Almaroof Oloyede, over death of his deputy chief of staff, Hon. Francis Goke Oguntulu.
The delegation which was led by its chairman, Primate Dr. G. O. Omotosho, commiserated with the council boss and entire cabinet over the loss.
Omotosho prayed for the repose of the soul of the departed as well as his bereaved family.
He also prayed for peace and tranquility within the Oshodi community and that God should forestall the reoccurrence of such ugly incident.
The executive chairman warmly welcomed them to his office while appreciating them for taking their time to visit him and also pray for the entire local government.
Oloyede encouraged all the religious bodies to continue their prayers for Nigeria, Lagos and Oshodi-Isolo in particular.
He further disclosed that efforts are in top gears to ensure the perpetrators of the nefarious acts are apprehended.
He stated "we are working with the security agencies to ensure the perpetrators are apprehended. They can run but they can't hide because it is just a matter of time before they will be arrested and be made to face the wrath of the law".
In company of the CAN chairman were Rev. David Daramola (Vice Chairman) and Pastor E.O. Oyemade ( Director of Political Affairs).
