Final Burial Rite of Late Deputy Chief of Staff to Oshodi Isolo Council Chairman Commences



 











The burial rites for the late deputy chief of staff to the Executive Chairman of Oshodi-Isolo local government, the late Francis Olagoke Oguntulu, commenced on Tuesday with a wake keep at the Legislative building of the local government. 


The wake keep which took place on Tuesday was conducted by the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Sanctuary of Testimony Parish started with praise and worship songs as directed by the officiating minister.


The wake keep, which was a solemn program, was attended by friends, family, political allies and those who were touched by the untimely death of the late politician, as the venue was filled to the brim as well as the entire surroundings of the legislative building. 


The officiating minister, Pastor Kehinde Atobatele, urged those present not to mourn the late Francis Olagoke Oguntulu, but rather to celebrate his life as he had gone to rest with his creator.


In the tributes on the life and times of the late deputy chief of staff, he was described as a pleasant personality who was ready to assist at any point in time .


In his own tribute, Hon. Wasiu Femi Mustapha, disclosed that he and the late politician were so close and enjoyed it, stressing that he begrudged no one and was a bubbly friend who he will miss dearly. 


The Executive Chairman of Oshodi Isolo local government, ably represented by his vice, Hon. Modupe Badmus Aregbe, stated that his late aide was "a jolly good fellow, whose invaluable contribution to the local government will be missed", he prayed to God to grant him eternal rest.


The council boss however assured that the local government is working in concert with the Police and other security agencies to ensure the perpetrators of the heinous crime are brought to book.


The wake keep had in attendance also the Chairman of Isolo Local Council Development Area, Otunba Adebayo Olasoju, the leader of the legislative house of Oshodi-Isolo local government, Hon. Rasheed Adeshina Obasa, former chairman Oshodi/Isolo Local Governement Coucil, Prince Samuel Omotesho Aina, vice chairman of Isolo LCDA, Hon. Shakiru Adeola Sadiq, Senior Special Assistant to former Governor Akiwunmi Ambode, Hon. Aiyedun Taiwo (Shanana), Physically Challenged Leader, All Progressives Congress (APC), Lagos State, Hon. Israel Akiode (Oosha) Chairman APC, Oshodi-Isolo LGA Hon. Saheed Animashaun, members of the legislative arm from both councils as well as political and  community leaders of note.
