Oshodi/Isolo Council Boss Saved Asthmatic Patient from Untimely Death.













 

Today, Monday 1st of August, 2022, would have ended up being a sad day for the family of Mr Joshua Adeyemi, a chronic asthmatic patient, who has been battling with the ailment from the age of 6. While going about his daily business, he had a serious attack in front of Oshodi-Isolo local government secretariat and almost lost his life but for the timely intervention of good Samaritans that quickly came to his rescue.To make the matter worse at the moment, he had exhausted his inhaler. 


After being revived, he was taken to the Staff Health Center inside the local government with directive that he should be promptly treated by the executive chairman. After receiving first aid treatment, he was refered to Isaac Ademolu Banjoko memorial primary health center,in Oshodi Isolo local government for further medical examination and treatment. 


His entire treatment was funded by the chairman who also bought for him drugs and 4 inhalers. The chairman further promised to be making available for him an inhaler on a weekly basis after given him an undisclosed amount of money to further treat himself. 


An emotional Joshua was highly appreciative of the good Samaritans that first revived him when he almost passed on and for the chairman that treated him and promised to be making available for him an inhaler on a weekly basis. 


In his words, "I want to thank God for sparing my life today, I had an attack after I had exhausted my inhaler. I have been battling with asthma since I was 6years old. I have been fully treated and 4 inhalers have been given to me, two Seretide Evohaler, for daily usage and another two Ventolin Inhaler for when my breathing is not fine. The chairman has paid for my treatment, given me money and asked me to be coming to collect inhaler on a weekly basis. May God continue to bless him and his family. I am indeed grateful.
