The Lagos State Ministry of Local Government has commended the Oshodi-Isolo local government chairman, Otunba Kehinde Almaroof Oloyede, on infrastructural development projects his administration embarked upon since his assumption of office.
A director of the ministry, Mr Ogunjobi Raymond Olatunji, who led the team around the projects commended the level of work done on infrastructure in the local government by the chairman.
"We are glad about what we have seen from the projects we visited, you have really done well on the roads project. We were happy seeing the Liverpool road linked to the highway, this is highly commendable."
"Other roads such as Opo Osun, Everet Way, Adewunmi Ogefon, Odalume link among others that we visited are solid. We commend the chairman for this infrastructure he has been able to do. We can only ask him to continue on the good path he has started; Ogunjobi said.
The council chairman thanked the team for the visit and assured them he will continue to do more for his people.
Oloyede informed the team that his administration has embarked on the rehabilitation of Oshodi and Mafoluku Roads as well as Omilade Street and Mukandasi Street.
"We thank you for the commendation, this is telling us that the work we are doing is noticed and appreciated, I want to assure you that we will not rest on our oars in delivering more infrastructure for the people.
"Let me tell you that we have started work on Mafoluku/Oshodi Roads, Omilade and Mukandas Streets, we will soon open the Liverpool road for use, we will screed it and beautify the environment for the good of our people," the Council helmsman said.
