As the youths across the fifty-seven Local Government and Local Development Areas across Lagos State will be staging a walk for the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) on Saturday, the Executive Chairman of Oshodi-Isolo local government, Otunba Kehinde Almoroof Oloyede, has promised to lead one thousand youths and residents of the local government to participate in the walk.
His position was made known on Friday by his media office where it was made public that he has directed cabinet members and party officials to embark on mobilisation of youths as well as residents for the walk, tagged "Walk for Tinubu/Shettima being coordinated by Mr Seyi Tinubu.
In his words "I will be joining our teeming youths to mobilize them and join in the walk being put together by my brother, Seyi Tinubu, for our leader, who is also my father that has impacted and supported me everytime, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu. My joining the walk is to encourage our people to participate in it. Cabinet members, party officials, members as well as residents are being mobilized for the walk. We shall continue to propagate the good work of Asiwaju Tinubu."
"Also, our hardworking Governor, Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu, deserves our support too, so I am enjoying our people to troop out tomorrow for the walk to show appreciation for he good projects being executed by Governor Sanwo-Olu."
The council boss equally disclosed that preparations are in top gear by the local government to kick start the campaign for the candidates of the party in his local government, promising that once the state secretariat gives directive to the local chapters, Oshodi-Isolo local government will ultimately stand out.
