The executive chairman of Oshodi-Isolo local government, Otunba Kehinde Almaroof Oloyede, has inspected the ongoing road construction work at Mukadas street in the Mafoluku area of the council.
The visit was to ascertain the level and quality of job done so far on the road.
The council chairman, during the inspection, engaged the residents as he assured them of early completion of the road to ease human and vehicular moments in the area.
Oloyede assured the residents that the contractor will do a perfect job.
He apologized to the residents over the initiate delay in the completion of the road project. He said the delay in the construction work was due to paucity of funds, while promising that moving forward, required attention will be given to the road for speedy completion.
He said; "I am here today to inspect the ongoing construction of Mukadas street. I am pleased with the quality of job done so far and I want to plead for the understanding of our people. The work was stalled due to funds but we shall ensure it is finished in time so that our people can enjoy the usage."
The residents who were happy seeing the council chairman inspecting the road work, eulogized him for his heart of gold for the plights of the people.
The residents applauded the quality of job done on the drainage construction.
