The executive chairman of Oshodi-Isolo local government, Otunba Kehinde Almaroof Oloyede, led no fewer than a thousand youths from his local government, in a walk for the support of the presidential candidate of the ruling All Progressives Congress, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu on Saturday.
The council boss, while leading the youths in the solidarity walk for Tinubu and Sanwo-Olu promised to continue to mobilize for the actualisation of Tinubu and his running mate, Senator Kashim Shettima's, presidential ambition.
Oloyede said his support for the Tinubu presidency and the relection of Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu are unwavering.
He urged residents of the council to support and vote for the Tinubu/Shettima and Sanwo-Olu/Hamzat's tickets come 2023.
He said; "Our support for the Tinubu/Shettima Presidential candidacy and that of our amiable Governor Sanwo-Olu, remain unwavering and we will mobilize our people to vote for the tickets.
This is why we have mobilized a thousand youths from our council in a walk for the presidential and gubernatorial candidates of our party. This, we will continue to do for the actualisation of their political ambitions.
As we move gradually into the campaign and election day, I urge all our members and residents of the council to troop out en masse and vote Tinubu/Shettima and Sanwo-Olu/Hamzat come 2023."
Part of the participants in the walk as mobilised by the chairman included the vice chairman of the council, Hon Modupe Badmus-Aregbe; APC chairman of the Oshodi-Isolo LGA, Hon. Saheed Animashaun; leader of the Oshodi-Isolo legislative arm, Hon. Rasheed Obasa; members of the legislative arm; Supervisors and Special Advisers among others.
