With joy in his heart, the executive chairman of Oshodi-Isolo local government, Otunba Kehinde Almaroof Oloyede has congratulated with
Hon. Mayowa Alakija on his new appointment Education Secretary for Oshodi-Isolo Local Government Education Authority (LGEA).
Alakija's appointment came after being jointly and unanimously nominated by the Chairmen of Oshodi-Isolo local government, Isolo and Ejigbo Local Council Development Areas (LCDAs).
The council chairman said it is his utmost pleasure seeing Alakija being appointed the ES.
He charged the ES to deliver the education sector from its near comatose, saying this is the only way the youthful Alakija can justify the confidence imposed in him by all.
He said: "I congratulate our youthful Education Secretary, Alakija on his appointment. This is the beginning of more joyful things to happen in our local government.
"As I congratulate you on this appointment, I urge you to leave beyond board and bring to fore your tenacity and sagacity in taking the education sector to an enviable stage."
