Oshodi-Isolo LG Helmsman, Oloyede, Meets Officials of Public Complaint Commission

 








The executive chairman of Oshodi-Isolo local government, Otunba Kehinde Almaroof Oloyede, has received in audience the officials of the Public Complaints Commission in his Oyetayo office. 


The team led by the Assistant Director of Private Investigations of the commission, Mr Bolarinwa Ajose, visited the council helmsman on Tuesday.


Ajose stated that the commission is a federal parastatal set up by degree 31 of 1975 saddled with the duties of receiving, investigating and resolving administrative issues between individuals and corporate bodies as well as public and private. 


He noted that the commission has been able to amicably resolved different issues that would have resorted in litigation in different local government areas.


He stressed that the Commission frowns at any administrative injustice.



He however pleaded with the council chairman to make an office available to them within the local government secretariat so that they can be closer to the grassroot and discharge their duties better. 


While responding, the council chairman appreciated their efforts towards resolving issues that would have lead to litigation and legal expenses.



He said, "I want to welcome you all to my office and our local government. I have listened keenly to the issues you have been able to resolved amicably without resorting to litigation.


You resolve your issues in a friendly and brotherly manner thereby making all the parties to see reason with their actions and seek amicable resolution."


He continued, "on your office request, I will consult with my team and the management staff and revert accordingly."


The team appreciated the chairman for his time and his willing spirit.



Other members in the meeting include leader of the house, Hon. Rasheed Obasa, Chief of Staff, Hon. Leke Banjoko, Mrs Uchenna Nnadozie (Deputy Director of Investigations), Mrs Evelyn Uzoh (Assistant Director, Private investigation), Mrs Yemisi Akinluyi (Head of information), Shotonwa Waheed and Okolie Oluchi( information officers).
