Oshodi LG Chairman, Fed. Lawmaker, APC LAHA Candidate Visit Alasia









 







... Assure Residents of Massive Infrastructural Development 


The executive chairman of Oshodi-Isolo local government, Otunba Kehinde Almaroof Oloyede, in company of a member of the Federal House of Representatives, representing Oshodi-Isolo Federal Constituency 1, Dr. Bashiru Dawodu and candidate of the All Progressives  Congress (APC) Lagos State House of Assembly candidate for Oshodi-Isolo Constituency 1, Otunba Stephen Olukayode Ogundipe, visited the Alasia Zone of ward D1B (Ogunoloko) to discuss with residents on their plans to deliver massive infrastructural development projects within the council.


The trio said the visit became necessary owning to the clamour of the residents to see their representatives and discuss their needs with them.


While conversing with the residents, the council chairman and other stakeholders used the avenue to carry out a tour of the vicinity and listened to the demands of the people.


Topmost on the list of the Alasia residents was the request for construction of drainage to cushion the effect of flood anytime it rains, and pipe borne water.


Oloyede informed them that he had already set plans in motion as regards the drainage construction for the Alasia community. He promised them that construction work will kickoff in no time.


To make real his promise to the people,  the council chairman also supervised the measurements of the channels the drainage will pass for speedy construction.


He said, "my humble self and my brother from Abuja, our MHR, Dr. Bashiru Dawudu, and our incoming Lagos Assembly member, Otunba Stephen Ogundipe  (Omojomolo) have come here to have a hearty discussions with you and to assess your community to see where and how we can intervene in order to make life easier for you all. Alasia Zone is a community we hold dear to our hearts and efforts are already ongoing towards kicking off the construction of your drainage."


The MHR equally engaged the people and listened to their demands. He reminded them of the numerous empowerment materials and programs that the residents of Alasia Zone had benefited and also promised of more aggressive representation for his second term. 


The APC Lagos Assembly Candidate, Otunba Stephen Ogundipe, equally used the avenue to dialogue with the residents and requested for their continued support and cooperation as we approach the general elections. 


Residents trooped out to welcome their representatives and pleaded for the speedy completion of the project about to be executed.
