The APC youth leader in Lagos State, Dr. Seriki Muritala, has received the acting executive members of Congress of Ward Youth Leaders in his ACME office to further discuss modalities of the party winning the coming election.
It should be recalled that the Congress of Ward Youth Leaders was recently formed and it is the body bringing together all the youth leaders from each ward in Lagos.
While meeting the Lagos State youth leader, the acting chairman of the group, Hon. Gideon Balogun from Oshodi-Isolo local government, appreciated the State Youth Leader for his sterling leadership style since he emerged as the youth leader of APC in Lagos State. He said his tenure has witness massive increase in the number youths of the APC in Lagos with many laudable Programs.
In his words, "Sir, we want to appreciate you for meeting with us. We are the representatives of the entire ward youth leaders across the 57 Local Government Areas and local Council Development Areas in Lagos with a total strength of 377. We formed ourselves to complement your efforts and those of the LGA youth leaders. You will agree with me that we are the ones on the street, daily discussing with the youths and getting their feedbacks".
Dr. Seriki warmly welcomed them to his office and appreciate their burning desire to work for the success of the party. He said he would welcome and encourage any move aimed at ensuring the party emerged victorious at the coming election. He promised to give the necessary support to the group to properly function and deliver at the ward level.
According to him, "I welcome you all to my office. I can see the burning desire of our youth leaders at the ward level to want to maximally deliver for our party and I will welcome such move. We all need to work together at the state, LGA and Ward levels to achieve total success."
