The polling units committee set up by the state level of the APC in Lagos to verify party members and their permanent Voter's Card in their polling units have kicked off their operation in Oshodi-Isolo Local Government.
The committee chairman, Mr. Olufemi Aremo Kufisile, stated that they were at the local government to verify the details of APC members submitted to work for the victory of the party at their respective polling units. He said the exercise is a crucial one and they will execute it diligently because the party's victory is sacrosanct.
According to him, "we are here to re-confirm the exercise earlier conducted by the Local Government Polling Units Committee. Our works are complimentary and we will be diligent in doing it. We have been sanctioned to verify the authenticity of our members that were submitted to work at the their polling units during the election. We will check all the documents submitted and make appropriate decisions".
The state committee will be working with the Local Government Polling Units Committee headed by Alhaji Azeez Olubiyo, Mr Nelly Awotile (Secretary) and Hon. Sesan Adebayo as member.
Other members of the State Committee include Alhaji Ola Shewu as Secretary, and Hon. Kolawole Olasupo, Yeye Adefunke Akinwale, and Chief Mrs. Funke Okunmu as members.
