In a bid to strategically plan for the success of the BAT-SHETTIMA presidential tickets of the ruling APC, the South-west zonal coordinator of BAT-Shettima Progressives Vanguard, Engineer Ogunsuyi Olakunle, has met and engaged the Lagos State executives while charging them to ensure they maximally deliver for the party.
Ogunsuyi charged the executive members to develop plans on how they intend to deliver the highest votes possible for BAT-Shettima tickets and all APC candidates by extension.
According to him, "I am meeting you today first, to know you all and to also listen to your plans for the progress of the group and how you intend to deliver our presidential candidate and all other candidates of our party".
While responding, the Lagos State Coordinator,
Hon. Keshinro Adewale, who led other members of the executive to the meeting, noted that the task before Lagos State Chapter of the body is an Herculean task because Lagos is the political base of the presidential candidate hence, all hands must be on deck. He stated that his plan is to deliver 95% of the total votes of Lagos to Asiwaju.
According to him, "myself and my executive members that cut across the 3 senatorial zones and 57 Local Government and LCDAs in Lagos are ensuring that we get 95% of the total voting strength of Lagos to Asiwaju. We believe this is possible and with our spread across the state, we are sure to deliver.
"In the coming weeks, we shall be moving from one local government to the other to propagate the good news of great Asiwaju. We shall be appointing local government coordinator that will supervise the activities of his/her local government and report back to the state executives. With the plans and strategies we have on ground, we are sure to deliver ", he concluded.
