Lagos Assembly Candidate, Ogundipe Kicks-off House to House Campaign from Mafoluku Ward

 









Candidate of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) for Lagos State House of Assembly, Oshodi-Isolo Constituency 1, Otunba Stephen Olukayode Ogundipe (popularly Omojomolo), has kicked off his house to house campaign from Mafoluku Ward of the local government.


The campaign walk which was aimed at engaging residents on a house to house commenced at the Dominion junction of the Mafoluku.


Ogundipe and his team took their time to canvased for the ruling APC and all its candidates across all spectrum in their moves from street to street within the Mafoluku ward.



The Lagos State House of Assembly candidate said the walk will cover the seven wards of the local government, noting that the aim is to interface personally with his constituent.


Ogundipe disclosed that by engaging them on a one on one basis, he has been able to listened to some of their complaints which will be the areas of his focus once elected. He also said he has been able to extract commitment from some persons that hitherto would not have voted for the party. 


In his words, "this is the first of the seven wards that will be tour in our local government. The aim of the walk is to afford us the opportunity to interface one on one with our people and I can assure you that it is a great idea. Our people have been able to pour out their minds and also offer us valuable suggestions that will better our campaign and our administration, when elected. It is indeed a huge success and we shall also improve on it on our next outing."


Also present in the walk include former Special Adviser to Lagos State Governor, Akinwunmi Ambode, Hon. Taiwo Ayedun; Honourable Councilor representing Mafoluku Ward, Hon. Kazeem Abayomi; Special Adviser to the council chairman on Media, Information and ICT, Hon. Tobi Salako; Chief of Staff to MHR, Hon. Usman Maruffy; Hon. Abiodun Ogundimu; Mafoluku Ward chairman of the APC; ward executives and hosts of other party stalwarts.
