The Oshodi-Isolo local government chairman Otunba Kehinde Almaroof Oloyede has deplored contractors to continue the ongoing rehabilitation work on Omilade street in Mafoluku area of the local government.
Oloyede said the contractor who has commenced work on the drainage construction will ensure the work is completed on scheduled time.
The council boss said when completed, the road would complement and ease access to other major roads within the community.
He said: "We have mobilised contractors to the ongoing Omilade road rehabilitation and they have commenced work on the drainage. We are staring with this to ensure quality work is delivered for our people."
"I am assuring you that the road will be completed on time, with quality job to ease our people's challenges in commuting themselves and their goods and services."
The council boss further stated that other roads which are in bad states will be given attention and rehabilitated while regular and routine maintenance work will be carried out on others to ensure their long-lasting.
