... evaluates past activities and plans ahead
The ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) Oshodi-Isolo local government under the chairmanship of Hon. Saheed Animashaun, has called for a special stakeholders meeting with the party hierarchies in order to evaluate their past activities and strategize ahead.
The meeting had in attendance all the Zonal coordinators, Ward Excos and LGA excos.
According to the party chairman, the aim of the meeting was to further strategize for the coming elections and appraise the activities of the party on a ward by ward basis.
While addressing the party stalwarts, Hon. Animashaun disclosed that no stone will be left unturned as they approached the election. He said all the party hierarchies from the national level to the zonal levels must ensure the success of the party and all its candidates in the coming elections.
In his words; "this meeting became necessary because we have to evaluate our actions and activities for the past couple of months and also plan ahead as we approach the general elections. Everyone seated here today is a major stakeholder in our party and we must keep the flag flying. We must be up and doing till we achieve success after the election".
Also addressing the meeting was the Lagos State House of Assembly candidate for Oshodi Constituency 1, Otunba Stephen Olukayode Ogundipe (Omojomolo).
He equally charged members to double their efforts at their respective areas and optimally deliver for the party. He said it's a moving train and all loyal party members should join and not wait to be invited.
The Chief of Staff to the honourable member representing Oshodi-Isolo Federal Constituency 1, Dr. Bashir Dawudo, also related a message from the MHR.
He said his unavoidably absent but he was with them in spirit. He disclosed that the federal lawmaker tried to make the meeting but was unable due to official assignments. He however said that he was not around doesn't mean he doesn't hold the constituent in high regard.
