The Chief of Staff to the executive chairman of Oshodi-Isolo local government, Hon. Leke Banjoko, has meet and engaged the youths of Araromi Zone of the local government.
While engaging the youths of his very zone, he stated that the meeting because imperative due to the important roles the youths are expected to play in the coming general elections. He noted that himself, being a youth, has deemed it fit to enlighten his fellow youths in order to prepare them for the task ahead.
He observed that it is only when the youths properly positioned themselves and work for the victory of party that they can have the confidence to face their representatives and demand certain things from them. He said the youths should not get carried away with the fake news flying around.
He said, "it is imperative I meet with you all today so that we can discuss and brainstorm on the coming election. The youths are expected to play important roles in the coming election hence, we have to properly positioned ourselves and vote for candidates with good pedigree and experience. It is when we do this that we can face our representatives and demand our rights from them. If we have demanded and collected money from them before the election, we will not have the effrontery to face them when they are misbehaving.
"To our APC members that are aggrieved due to one reason or the other, now is the time to bury our differences and look ahead. Whatever that is causing our grievances will surely be addressed but we should not allowed the rancour to cause a setback for us. The party echelon are seriously working for the success of the party and their efforts will surely be fruitful."
He also said the council chairman, Otunba Kehinde Almaroof Oloyede, is working on how all the residents of the local government and party members will benefit from the massive Infrastructural projects he is embarking on. He stressed that the council chairman is a man that has the interest of all the people at heart and he will leave no stone unturned.
