... Council chair Eulogized Mr Governor
Health has been adjudged to be wealth and the wellbeing of a child is the happiness of the parents. In order to ensure the protection of children from the diseases caused by Rota Virus, the Lagos State Government has flag off the vaccinations of children aged 6weeks to 2years.
While kicking off the vaccinations exercise, the executive chairman of Oshodi-Isolo local government, Otunba Kehinde Almaroof Oloyede, who was represented by his wife, Mrs Fadekemi Oloyede, appreciated the Lagos State Governor, Mr Babajide Sanwo-Olu and his darling wife, for having the wellbeing of the little children at heart.
In the words of Oloyede, "we are here today to flag off Rota Virus Vaccination in conjunction with the Lagos State Government for children between the ages of 0-2 years. Rota virus causes severe, watery diarrhea and vomiting in infants and young children.
"Immunization are the world's safest method of protecting our children from vaccine preventable diseases. This program is in alignment with our promises and in tandem with the Lagos State T.H.E.M.E.S policies on health."
The council chairman eulogized the Lagos State Governor for being proactive and always forward looking.
