The Executive chairman of Oshodi-Isolo local government, Otunba Kehinde Almaroof Oloyede has urged workers of the council to be more dedicated and committed to duty.
The council boss stated this on Wednesday at the council's new year prayer session and get-together held at the conference hall of the local government.
Oloyede said the prayer session becomes necessary so as to seek divine guidance and direction in the administration of the local government as the new year begins.
The council honcho reassured the workers and the people of the local government of his commitment to improved welfare and infrastructural development.
He said; "we thank God for seeing us through 2022 and for the new beginning of 2023. We are organizing this prayer session to commit ourselves to the hands of God. As we begin to work in this new year, I want to appeal to you all to remain dedicated and committed to duty.
"Unity is the hallmark of development for any organisation, I, therefore, urge you all to be united and work in harmony for us to achieve more in this year and beyond."
The prayers were offered by Evangelist Micheal Ayomide.
