Oshodi-Isolo LG Chairman Sues for Peace as Party inaugurates Campaign Committees


















 

The Executive chairman of Oshodi-Isolo local government, Otunba Kehinde Almaroof Oloyede has sued for peace among party members as the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) inaugurated a 250 member campaign committees.


Oloyede while speaking at the inauguration on Monday at the council secretariat, urged the party members to sheath their swords and work collectively for the  success of the party at the coming elections. 


The council boss spoke glowingly of the presidential candidate of the party, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, governorship candidate, Mr Babajide Sanwo-Olu who is seeking second  term in office as governor of Lagos state, senatorial candidate Dr Idiat Adebule, House of Representatives candidate for Oshodi-Isolo federal constituency 1, Hon Dawudu Bashiru and Lagos State House of Assembly candidate, Oshodi-Isolo constituency 1, Otunba Stephen Kayode Ogundipe and urged collective effort to ensure their winning the elections.


Otunba Oloyede said he will support all the committees to ensure success at the polls. 

He said; "I will to appeal to you all to work in unison for the success of the party at the polls, let's settle our differences and work as a team for the sake of our dear leader Asiwaju Tinubu from whom many of us are benefiting, Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu who has remain a strong pillar to our adminsitration and all our candidates at the polls."


"We must all do all we can positively to ensure we win massively, we want our local government to come first with the highest votes cast across the federation at the end of the polls."

The party  chairman, Hon Saheed Animashaun who presided at  the occasion called names of the committee one after the other.

In the committee, there were 14 directorates to work for the success of the party. 



These Dirctorates are; Finance, Security, Planning and Strategic, Publicity, Contact, Women Affairs, Youth Affairs, Religious, Ethnics Group, Elders Advisory Council, Campaign, Mobilisation,  INEC Technical and Welfare Organising. The oath of office was administered to the Chairmen and Secretaries of each of the directorate by Barr. Joseph Asine at the presence of teaming party members and Leaders. 



Hon Animashaun appealed to the committees to work assiduously at ensuring victory for all candidates of the party at the polls.
