In preparation for the coming general elections and with the aim of having a united front, the Oshodi-Isolo Local Government leaders and elders held an all important strategic meeting where cogent issues relating to the unity, oneness and harmony of the party were discussed.
The meeting which was hosted by the executive chairman of Oshodi-Isolo local government, Otunba Kehinde Almaroof Oloyede had leaders across all groups and caucuses present to discuss plans that would lead to the electoral victory of all the candidates of the ruling APC. Each of the attendees aired their opinions concerning bringing the party together, while stressing the importance of brotherly love within the party.
Dignitaries present at the meeting include Honourable Member representing Oshodi-Isolo Federal Constituency 1 at Federal House of Assembly, Hon. (Dr.) Bashir Dawodu, Lagos State Commissioner for Housing, Hon. Maruf Akinderu (MAF), APC Lagos State Assembly candidate, Otunba Stephen Olukayode Ogundipe, Oshodi APC LGA chairman, Hon. Saheed Animashaun, Leader, legislative arm of the Council, Hon. Rasheed Obasa, D.G. Laspema, Hon. Daisi Osho, Secretary to the local government, Hon. Smart Olayinka, Chief of Staff, Hon. Leke Banjoko.
Others include former council chairman, Hon. Prince S.O. Aina, Chief Sunday Akinwale, Alh. Kehinde Olorunoje and Chief Adedayo Jimoh.
