The executive chairman of Oshodi-Isolo local government, Otunba Kehinde Almaroof Oloyede has paid a courtesy visit to the newly installed Baale of Mafoluku Asalu-Elemo of Ilemo Land in Oshodi, Alhaji Adedayo Thomas.
The council boss whose delegation was led by his vice, Mrs Modupe Badmus-Aregbe, along with some members of the cabinet in attendance paid the courtesy visit to the royal father on Saturday.
Oloyede said it is imperative he pays the visit to the High Chief while noting that his administration will work harmoniously with him and other royal fathers within the council and continue to give them the needed support, cooperation and respect.
He also noted that Mafoluku Asalu-Elemo of Ilemo Land in Mafoluku Ward of the local government is an integral and important part of the local government and he will continue to support the people and the royal father to ensure continued development.
While delivering the warmth message of the chairman to the royal father, the vice chairman said, "we are here on the instruction of the executive chairman of our great local government, Otunba Kehinde Almaroof Oloyede, who is unavoidably absent due to some official assignments. He asked us to relate his goodwill message to you sir, he expressed his happiness and gratitude to God on your behalf for being able to sit on the seat of your forefathers. He prayed that you leave long in sound health, happiness and joy. He prays that your reign will bring peace and development to your kingdom. We are all happy with you sir, congratulations once more sir.
The royal father while receiving the team expressed his happiness on the visit.
Alhaji Thomas stated that the government and the traditional institution will continue to work for the peace and development of the community.
He promised to always work in partnership with the government.
