Oshodi-Isolo Local Government Chairman Bids Aide Farewell at Firdau

 













The executive chairman of Oshodi-Isolo local government, Otunba Kehinde Almaroof Oloyede has bidded his aide, Hon Ridwan Animashaun popularly called Alesh farewell, late politician firdaus was held at his residence on Thursday. 


Both elected and appointed political office holders of the council led by the vice chairman, Hon. (Mrs) Modupe Badmus-Aregbe were present to observe the firdau prayers for Alesh who until his death was the Senior Special Assistant (SSA) on Traffic to the council chairman and legal officer of Oshodi-Isolo local government All Progressives  Congress (APC).


Hon. Ridwan Animashaun passed away last week Thursday after a brief illness and was buried on Friday according to Islamic doctrine.


The vice Chairman relayed the message of the chairman to the family, urging them to be strong and united now that their beloved son and husband is no more. 


Present during the prayers include the member representing Oshodi-Isolo Federal Constituency 1 at house of representatives, Dr. Bashir Dawudu, Secretary to the council, Hon. Smart Akinleye, Chief of Staff, Hon. Leke Banjoko, supervisors for environment, Hon. Femi Ajayi, Chieftaincy, Hon. Abiodun Mamora, Civic engagement, Hon. Obafemi Olalekan, Special Duties, Hon. Yusuf Adesanyan.


Others include Special Advisers to the chairman on Media, Information and ICT, Hon. Tobi Salako, Education, Hon. Joke Onitolo, Youth and Sport, Hon. Jakande Olusegun, WAPA, Hon. Bukola Bashorun, Revenue, Hon. Gideon Balogun, and host of others.


The leader of the legislative arm of the council, Hon. Rasheed Obasa equally led councillors to the firdau prayer venue. In company of the leader were Hon. Temitope Ige-Adega, the Whip of the house, and Hon. Kazeem Abayomi, councillor representing Mafoluku Ward. They all prayed for aljana friduos to the deceased.
