The executive chairman of Oshodi-Isolo local government, Otunba Kehinde Almaroof Oloyede, his wife Mrs Omofadekemi have led women and other party members of the local government on a door-to-door campaign for the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, reelection of Lagos state Governor Mr Babaajide Sanwo-Olu and all candidates of the party.
The door-to-door campaign which begin at the Mafoluku ward of the local government is meant to take the messages of the party to all residents in canvassing for candidates of the party at all levels.
Oloyede and his wife in their door-to-door campaign canvassed the support of the people for the relection of the member Federal House of Representatives representing Oshodi-Isolo Constituency 1, Hon Bashiru Dawudu and election of Lagos House of Assembly candidate Otunba Kayode Stephen Ogundipe at the polls.
He said; "We are embarking on this door-to-door campaign to sensitise our people and canvass them to vote our father, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu at the polls, our indefatigable governor, Mr Sanwo-Olu for second term and other Lagos west senatorial district candidate, Dr Idiat Adebule, house of representatives candidate Dr Bashiru, and Lagos Assembly candidate Ogundipe at the polls. We will continue to mobilise our people to support and vote all our candidates at the general elections."
Mrs Oloyede also corroborated the council chairman as she said she will use her good office to canvass the women for all candidates of the party.
She said; "we are out here to support Asiwaju Tinubu, he is a great leader, he transformed Lagos when he was Governor, we want him to lead Nigeria and transform it for the best. We want him to be our President. We have been working for his presidency he is our father, we have to support him and we will support him in all ways because he done so much for us.
We are also canvassing for our Governor Sanwo-Olu, he has also done tremendously well in transforming Lagos, in less than 4 years he has been able to bring development to the state.
We are here to support the Senatorial candidate, Adebule, house of representatives Dawodu and assembly candidate Ogundipe, this is our call and we urge the people to vote for all our candidates at the polls."
