Aftermath of Elections: G50 Ofuobi Ndigbo Leaders Meet with Mc-Oluomo

In order to clear air on the misconceptions and misinformation that were flying around during the electioneering periods,  the leadership of G50 Ofuobi Ndigbo in Lagos, Chief Festus Uchenna, today 23rd March, 2023 paid a courtesy visit to the Chairman of Motor Parks and leader of Team Lagos, Alhaji Dr. Musiliu Ayinde Akinsanya (Mc Oluomo) at his residence.

Dr Festus Uchenna who is the founder and global coordinator of G50, introduced his team and gave the reasons of their visit. He noted that during the buildup to the election, there were many misinformation aimed at winning the election by all the political parties concerned. Now that the elections are over, there is need to correct some of the misconceptions and mend fences. He appreciated the Laspgm state chairman for his warmth welcome to his residence.

While replying, Alh. Musiliu Ayinde Akinsanya, popularly called Mc-Oluomo welcomed the delegation. He promised to continue to be a peace maker. He noted that many people often misquote him and usually deliberately twist his words to suit their nefarious motives, especially the oppositions.

According to him, "I have a lot of Ndigbos as friends, workers and tenants, even working with LASPGM as branch chairman and have always be in peace and harmony with any tribe, no person of any tribe can ever say I intimidate him or her before, during or after election. I have cordial relations with a lot of Ndigbo groups in my community and it will continue that way. I always believe in one Nigeria.

"I was however surprised few days to the election when my words were twisted when I was joking with a friend that I was threatening the Igbos in Lagos. Nothing of such happened and I have cleared the air on that. Those that are always looking for my downfall will always be disappointed."
