As part of their efforts to make their portfolios viable and impactful in their respective Local Councils, the members of the Conference '57 on ICT held a strategic meeting at Badagry Local Government of Lagos State.
The meeting which was hosted by the chairman of the forum, Hon. Moses Hunyinsode, saw members had a lengthy and fruitful deliberations on how to improve their departments and positively impact on their local council. Members deliberated, viable suggestions were noted and ideas were exchanged. After their deliberations, they paid homage to the executive chairman of Badagry Local Government, Hon. Olusegun Adeniran Onilude, who adviced them to be innovative so as to improve their councils technologically.
The meeting was also an avenue for the honourable members to enjoy themselves as the Conference visited tourist sites which include the First Storey Building in Nigeria; First CMS well dug in 1842 called Miracle Well; Mobee Royal Family Original Slave Trade Relics Museum, where they were enthralled by gory accounts of the Trans-Atlantic Slave Trade ably told by Temitope Mobee.
They equally visited the Royal Palace of the Mobee of Badagry Kingdom to register their presence, pay homage and received royal blessings from the Royal father.
