The executive chairman of Oshodi-Isolo local government, Otunba Kehinde Almaroof Oloyede has joined friends, family and party members to felicitate with the duo of Senator (Dr.) Idiat Adebule, the Senator representing Lagos-West at the Red Chambers and Hon. (Dr.) Bashir Dawodu, member representing Oshodi-Isolo Federal Constituency 1 at the House of Representatives.
The congratulatory message which was contained in a release made available by the media office of the chairman expressed the happiness of the council chairman on the inauguration of the two personalities while describing them as popular choices.
Oloyede noted that distinguished Senator Adebule is a core technocrat cum politician of repute and a goal getter that always champion merit, dedication and diligence. He expressed his assurance that the senator will deliver on her mandate and electoral promises to the constituents.
Otunba Oloyede equally eulogized the honourable member representing Oshodi-Isolo Federal Constituency 1 at the Green chamber, noting that it was his sterling performance at his first term that made the populace to return him for a second term. The council honcho appreciates his efforts in the areas of education, empowerment, health, rural electrification, to mention but a few.
He however charged him to ensure he surpasses his first term achievements.
He furthermore express his readiness and eagerness to work with the duo in bringing development to the local government while praying for strength and divine wisdom as they both embark on their legislative duties.
Otunba Oloyede stressed that he looked forward to a perfect working synergy that would ultimately benefit the people.
He said; "Today is the inauguration of the 10th assembly of our hallowed chambers and I would like to congratulate the two respectable personalities representing our constituency at both the Red and the Green chambers.
I am confident in the political sagacity and leadership acumen of both Distinguished Senator Idiat Adebule and Hon. Dr. Bashir Dawudo. They have been voted to represent our interests at the two Chambers and I am certain they will bring home the dividends of democracy to our people and local government. As they embark on their legislative duties today, I pray for divine wisdom, strength and health to discharge accordingly.
