The executive chairman of Oshodi-Isolo local government, Otunba Kehinde Almaroof Oloyede has joined well-meaning Lagosians and party faithfuls in congratulating the honourable speaker of Lagos State House of Assembly Rt. Hon. Mudashiru Obasa, on his Emergence as the 10th assembly speaker.
Recalled that Rt. Hon. Obasa was overwhelmingly elected speaker for the record 3rd term at the Lagos State Assembly Chamber on 6th June, 2023, after their inauguration by the Executive Governor of Lagos State, H.E. Babajide Sanwo-Olu.
Otunba Oloyede's congratulatory message, which was contained in a release by his media office, expressed the happiness of the council chairman, noting that Hon. Obasa's emergence was as a result of his pragmatic and proactive leadership style he exhibited and the complete trust his fellow honourable members, the ruling All Progressive Congress (APC) and party members have in his leadership.
The Oshodi-Isolo Council honcho further stated that under Hon. Mudashiru Obasa, Lagos State Assembly has become a shining example and beacon of positive legislature for other states to emulate. Obasa has provided top-notched democratic style and his sterling achievements are there for all to see as a testimony.
He said; "I received with happiness the joyous news of the emergence of Rt. Hon. Mudashiru Obasa as the speaker of Lagos State House of Assembly for the 10th assembly. His emergence does not come to me as a surprise owning to his unique leadership style and sterling performance. Under his able leadership, Lagos State House of Assembly is now a shining example for other states to emulate.
As he embarks on his legislative duties, I wish him the needed wisdom and strength to proceed on the herculean task of serving our dear state and humanity. Congratulations sir."
