In order to promote efficiency and prompt service delivery of the executive members of the Oshodi-Isolo local government, the council chairman, Otunba Kehinde Almaroof Oloyede has presented the first batch of official cars to members of the cabinet.
The beneficiaries of the first set include the secretary to the local government, Hon. Smart Akinleye, Supervisor for Agric and Rural Development, Hon. Balogun Agidi, Supervisor for Intergovernmental Affairs, Hon. Abosede Agbabiaka and Supervisor for Women Affairs, Hon. Feyishara Bashorun.
The presentation of the car keys was done by honourable member representing Oshodi-Isolo Federal Constituency 1 at the House of Representatives, Hon. Dr. Bashir Dawudo on Wednesday at the council secretariat.
Oloyede urged the recipients to justify their service delivery by promptly attending to the issues of the community.
He said; "these official vehicles are presented to you to aid your service delivery to the people of our dear community. I urge you all to make judicious use of the vehicle for effective service delivery."
The executive chairman of the local government, Otunba Oloyede noted that these are the first set of the vehicles.
He stressed that in no distance time, honourable Councillors and other members of the Executive will receive theirs.
He equally charged the recipients to make judicious use of the vehicles while reminding them that the local government has invested in them and the people would be expecting prompt and efficiency of service from them.
Present during the presentation were Councillors led by their leader, Hon. Rasheed Obasa, other Supervisory Councillors, the council manager, Princess Ogunyemi and the Council Treasurer among others.
