The executive chairman of Oshodi-Isolo local government, Otunba Kehinde Almaroof Oloyede has today provided relief support to the All Progressive Congress LGA and Ward exco members within the local government.
The APC LGA chairman, Hon. Saheed Animashaun, while presenting the financial support, appreciated the efforts of the council chairman towards restoring the glory of the local government and his magnanimity for having the party members at heart in this difficult time.
He equally appreciated the member representing Oshodi-Isolo Federal Constituency 1 at the House of Representatives, Hon. Dr. Bashir Dawudo, the member representing Oshodi-Isolo Constituency 1 at the Lagos State House of Assembly, Hon. Otunba Stephen Ogundipe and the incoming Commissioner, Hon. Maruf Akinderun Fatai (MAF).
The party chair expressed his displeasure to some party members while noting that their efforts in the last general election were below expectations. He however appreciated the zeal and dedications of the zonal leaders during the last general election stating that they were always available and ready to work. He emphasized the need for the party to remain united and harmonious while disclosing that a divided house cannot stand.
He further posited that the local government chairman, Otunba Kehinde Almaroof Oloyede is aware of the current economic situation and is working assiduously towards making available palliative measure for the local government staff, party members and the general residents of the local government. He said efforts are in top gear and it will be available in no time.
He assured them that Otunba Kehinde Almaroof Oloyede will always do things that would make their lives and those of the residents better.
