The Executive Chairman of Oshodi-Isolo local government, Otunba Kehinde Almaroof Oloyede has on Monday presented official vehicles to the lawmakers of the local government.
The vehicles presentation according to the council chairman, it is meant to aid them in the discharge of their official duties.
The brief presentation ceremony of the vehicles which was done on behalf of the chairman by the leader of the house, Hon. Rasheed Obasa, was carried out at the legislative building of the council.
While presenting the vehicles to the lawmakers, Hon. Obasa stated that the vehicle will aid the movement of the councillors towards delivering their statutory duties.
He disclosed that with their vehicles, there will be ease of movement and prompt service delivery.
He said; "on behalf of the executive chairman of this local government, Otunba Kehinde Almaroof Oloyede, I am presenting you these cars to aid your movements in delivering your statutory duties. I urge you all to make judicious use of these vehicles because it costs the local government enormous resources to make them available to you. I am certain that with these, it will aid the seamless delivery of your duties. Congratulations."
While paying the chairman a thank you visit in his office, Hon. Temitope Ige-Adega, honourable councillor representing Ewu Ward said on behalf of her colleagues, they have come to appreciate the chairman for making their official vehicles available and that it will aid their effective service delivery. She prayed for the success of the chairman and the development of the local government.
