The executive chairman of Oshodi-Isolo local government, Otunba Kehinde Almaroof Oloyede has stated that the smooth working relationship existing between the state government and the local government has been a positive catalyst that produces good results within the local government.
Oloyede stated when he featured on a Yoruba program titled "E jé kà báwon só" where he discussed the topic "Local Government: the closest to the grassroot" on Thursday.
While on the program, the council boss appreciated the leadership attributes of Mr. President, Bola Ahmed Tinubu (GCFR) and the Lagos state Governor Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu towards ensuring that the local governments perform exceptionally and discharge their duties as the third tier and closest government to the people.
He disclosed that the modest achievements recorded within two years in office which ranges from road constructions, health, education, youth training and empowerment, are made possible via the synergy that is existing between his local government and the Sanwo-Olu led state government.
The people that called into the program appreciated the chairman for his infrastructural giant strides within the local government, while urging him not to relent in the discharge of his people oriented programmes.
The council Chairman promised to continue in providing the needed support for the vulnerable and infrastructures that would better the lives of the residents and their businesses.
