Oshodi-Isolo Council Chair, Otunba Oloyede Prays for Council, State, Nation at ASMUS Islamic Prayer Session

 


... Prays for Unity, Development of Oshodi

The executive chairman of Oshodi-Isolo local government, Otunba Kehinde Almaroof Oloyede prayed for peace, growth and development of the local government and the prosperity of the residents.

The council chairman offered the prayers when he attended the yearly prayer session of ASMUS group, an Islamic organization led by Fadilat Sheikh Alh. Sirajudeen Ojulari on Tuesday. 

The executive chairman who was represented by his cabinet members who were led by the Chief of Staff to the local government, Hon. Leke Banjoko joined the marmot crowd to offer prayers at the yearly prayer program held at the Jalisco Mini Stadium of the local government where the council solemnly prayed for the Nation at large.

The congregants, who adorned in their various white attires with tesbir(rosary) and Quran in their hands, apart from personal prayers, also offered prayers for  the advancement of the country, state, local government and the leaders in general. 

The chief of staff disclosed that "we are here today on the instructions of the executive chairman of Oshodi-Isolo local government, Otunba Kehinde Almaroof Oloyede. We are here to represent him and pray for the growth and development of our dear local government, its residents and the country at large. We believe in God and we believe in the powers of prayers."


The council chair who has continued to drive infrastructural projects across the various wards of the council prayed that the Almighty strengthen him to continue his projects for the benefit of all; As he assured his administration will not rest  its oars until dividend of democracy gets to every nook and cranny of the local government. 


Also in attendance were the member, Lagos State House of Assembly, representing Oshodi-Isolo Constituency 1, Hon. Otunba Olukayode Stephen Ogundipe (Omoj'omolo), Supervisor for Agric, Hon. Balogun Agidi, Supervisor for Special Duties, Hon. Yusuf Adesanya, Supervisor for Chieftaincy, Hon. Abiodun Mamora, Supervisor for Civic Engagement, Hon. Obafemi Olalekan, Supervisor for Intergovernmental affairs, Hon. Bose Agbabiaka, supervisor for Environment, Hon. Femi Ajayi and supervisor for Budget, Hon. Tobi Olabintan. 

Others include Special Advisers on Works, Hon. Kehinde Adekunle, WAPA, Hon. Bashorun Feyishara, Media, Hon. Tobi Salako, Video and Photography, Hon. Ajayi Ogundipe, Clergymen and host of others.
