Bolade Junior Grammar School Visit Oshodi-Isolo Council Chair, Otunba Oloyede

... School commends council chair's love for education, support and infrastructure drives

Adorned in their beautiful school uniform with to match peer of sanders, socks and their various berets and caps, the students of Bolade Junior Grammar School led by their principal, Mrs Ojo L.A and other staff of the school paid a courtesy visit on the executive chairman of Oshodi-Isolo local government, Otunba Kehinde Almaroof Oloyede on Monday.

The visit, according to the Principal, Mrs Ojo was to appreciate the council chairman for his efforts towards improving the school environment in Oshodi in general and in Bolade Junior Grammar school in particular. 

She noted that the students of the school have been performing exceptionally well in all their competitions as evident in their winning the Best School in Nigeria and also winning the first position in talent hunt in Africa.

She stated that all these would not have been possible but for the enormous support given to them by the compassionate Council chairman. Furthermore, she used the opportunity to invite the chairman, his vice and the cabinet members to their inter-house sports coming up next week.

The council's vice chairman, Hon. Mrs. Modupe Badmus-Aregbe who received the team on behalf of the chairman, appreciated their visit and commended the teachers and the students for making the Local Government, State and Nigeria proud. She posited that we now have a new Oshodi under the able leadership of Otunba Kehinde Almaroof Oloyede and the mountains of trophies won by Bolade Junior Grammar School is a testimony to this fact. 

On behalf of the chairman, she promised continued support for the education sector and their students. 


The highlight of the visit was the cultural display by the students in appreciation of the chairman's efforts.


Each  of the students were also presented with writing materials to support them in their learning.
