Oshodi-Isolo Federal Constituency 1 MHR, Dr. Dawodu Kickstart 5-Days Medical Outreach



In pursuance of sound health for his constituents and fulfillment of his electoral promise, the  honourable member representing Oshodi-Isolo Federal Constituency 1 at the House of Representatives, Hon. Dr. Bashir Dawodu has kickstarts a 5-day medical outreach to carter for the medical needs of his constituents.


The services to be rendered free of charge to the constituents include medical checkups/diagnosis, medical counselling, provision of free medications, and presentation of free eye glasses. 



The honourable member has equally partnered with some hospitals within the local government where serious and further medical attention will be provided for those that need such additional medical attend. He did it with the hope of not leaving anyone behind.

Speaking at the flag-off, the MHR, Dr. Dawudo appreciates the large turnout of the people at the medical outreach. He  stated that the medical outreach is in fulfillment of his electoral promise to the people.

He disclosed that efforts are ongoing towards providing palliative program for the people. He also mentioned  provision of water, additional street lights women and youth empowerment as some of the areas he will focus on. 

The executive chairman of Oshodi-Isolo local government, Otunba Kehinde Almaroof Oloyede who was ably represented by his Vice, Hon. Mrs Modupeola Badmus-Aregbe appreciated the federal lawmaker for such superb initiative; noting that many residents will benefit from such free medical services and enjoy healthier life.

The leader of the legislative arm, Hon. Rasheed Obasa who led other councillors, equally eulogized the MHR for such medical intervention. He disclosed that the medical outreach is timely, particularly now that the cost of medical services are on the high side.





Personalities in attendance include APC Apex leaders, honourable councillors, Supervisors, Special Advisers, APC ward chairmen and host of others.
