The executive chairman of Oshodi-Isolo local government, Otunba Kehinde Almaroof Oloyede has made expressed excitement and joy as he felicitated with the Secretary to the local government, Hon. Smart Akinleye on his conferment as Most Outstanding Secretary to the Chairman Award 2023 by Eko Post Independence Award.
The council chairman expressed happiness on his SLG bagging the award, disclosing that his dedication, promptness, efficiency and attention to details are some of the attributes that earned him the accolade.
He also disclosed that his leadership skills and organization qualities as well as his unique ability of making cogent suggestions during policy formulation and implementation are what stood him out.
Oloyede highly commended the council's scribe for the feat.
He charged him to continue on his efficient service delivery, noting that the award and recognition should spur him to increase his commitment and resolutions towards fostering a better and prosperous Oshod-Isolo local government.
The council helmsman equally expressed his optimism that there are still many awards to come.
He said; "I am pleased to hear the cheery news that the secretary to our local government, Hon. Smart Akinleye has just bagged the most Outstanding Secretary to the chairman Award by Eko Post Independence Award. As much as I received the news with happiness, I'm not surprised owning to his efficient service delivery, dedication cum professionalism.
"I congratulate him and I'm sure many recognitions await him. He should continue his good works and knows that the award is asking for more, it should propel him to do even more. Congratulations dear SLG", the council chairman stated.
