... Pays him courtesy visit
It was an exciting gathering filled with inspiration and passion as members of Rotary Club of Ewutuntun paid a courtesy visit to one of their members who is also is an Honorable Member representing Oshodi-Isolo Constituency 1 at the Lagos State House of Assembly at his office in the Lagos Assembly complex on Wednesday.
The Rotarians who were led by their President, Rotarian Reuben Oni who described their visit as one borne out of spirit of camaraderie and fellowship as well as an opportunity to felicitate with one of their own.
They were grateful that Rotarian Ogundipe Stephen won his election bid and that they are certain he would use his office to promote the course of humanity which is what Rotary stands for. They expressed satisfaction on the precedent of the Rotarian cum Honourable member even before his election.
According to the President Rtn Oni, "Honourable Rotarian Ogundipe, we are here today to felicitate with you as well as identify with you as one of our own. We are also here to commend your efforts for the short period you have been elected. We know you shall continue to promote the ideas of Rotary by promoting the course of humanity."
While receiving the team, the lawmaker appreciated their thoughtfulness and their visit.
He said "I am humble to receive this august delegation. Rotary Club is a reputable international organization that is dedicated to promoting humanity. The Rotary objective is surely one of my guiding principles and you can be rest assured I will uphold them and do my very best".
The highlight of the visit was the presentation of Rotary's 4-Way-Test.
Others present include Past Presidents, Rtn Okeyin, Rtn Fuad, Rtn Owolabi, Rtn Malik, Rtn Kudirat and host of others.
