Encomiums, prayers, as Oshodi-Isolo LG Chairman, Kendoo shares bags of rice, chickens to residents

 



Joy and excitement rented the air in Oshodi area of Lagos as the executive Chairman of the Oshodi-Isolo local government, Otunba Kehinde Almaroof Oloyede (aka Kendoo) gifted bags of rice and live chickens to residents of the council in celebration of the Yuletide season.



The trail which moves from the council secretariat went round all the seven wards of the council sharing the bags of rice and chickens to the residents.

The elated residents who were cut unawares for the festive gift could not hide their joy and excitement as they rain prayers, encomiums on the council boss for his gesture.


Leading the team, the chief of staff to the council chairman, Mr Leke Banjoko along with the supervisor for environment, Mr Femi Ajayi ensure all wards were touched with adequate distribution of the festive season palliatives to the residents.

The elderly men and women who were core targets of the distribution pour out their innermost joy with prayers echoing their delightful mood. Youths who were also beneficiary of the bags of rice and chickens couldn't but commend the council chairman for his gesture as they also pray for longevity and success of the Otunba Oloyede administration.

One of the elderly women, Mrs Esther Emmanuel eulogised the council chairman for his kindness towards the citizens and impactful projects in the council.

She said; "I am very excited with this kind gesture, I least expected this, may God bless the Chairman for bag of rice and chicken. This is the only Chairman that always remember the residents and have been doing a whole lot on infrastructure, I pray that all he lays his hands on shall be prosperous."

Aside the house to house distribution of the bags of rice and live chickens, Kendoo has given various groups, religious, ethnic, youth associations, party men and women among others within the local government live chickens and bags of rice earlier.
