The executive chairman of Oshodi-Isolo local government, Otunba Kehinde Almaroof Oloyede has congratulated the Lagos State Governor, Mr Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu on his electoral victory at the Supreme Court.
Oloyede, while congratulating the executive governor, described the victory as a testimony of acceptance of his governance by Lagosians.
The council chairman in a statement by his media office said this victory has put to permanent end legal battles in the law court saying it will therefore enable the governor to focus in delivery more dividends of democracy and good governance to the residents.
He said: "The supreme court judgement affirming election victory of our indefatigable governor as the duly elected governor of Lagos State in the last general election is an affirmation of the acceptance of the governor and our party, the APC by the residents. We are glad the truth have prevailed as their Lordships have affirmed the governor's electoral victory.
"This is a victory for democracy and it is a victory for Lagosians as their votes truly count in the elections, as affirmed by the apex court. The judgment has put to a halt legal battles as the victory affirms the love Lagosians have for the governor and the APC.
"We the people of Oshodi-Isolo congratulate our governor and party over this sweet victory at the supreme court."
"With this resounding victorious judgement, Lagosians will continue to enjoy true dividends of democracy as have always been exemplified by the governor since his assumption of office."
