In fulfillment of his electoral promise to give education the needed attention, the lawmaker representing Oshodi-Isolo Federal Constituency 1 at the Federal House of Representatives, Hon. Dr. Bashir Dawodu has facilitated yet another block of furnished classroom for the usage of the pupils of Afariogun Nursery and Primary School.
At the commissioning of the laudable project, the federal lawmaker reiterated his passion for education and his commitment to his people, stressing that his intervention is geared at ensuring the pupils learn in a conductive environment.
Flanked by APC leaders, education authority representatives, school head teacher, teachers, parents and excited pupils, the lawmaker stated that the block is another promise fulfilled. He disclosed that other life impacting projects and programmes are still in the pipe line, while promising that the constituent are in good hands.
Recall that the MHR had implemented many projects for the benefits of the constituent including building of over 60 classrooms scattered within different schools in his constituent. He had equally facilitated numerous empowerment programs where people were trained and empowered. Medical outreach, installation of Solar street Lights, distribution of free eyes glasses, sponsoring of free eyes surgery, boreholes, free GCE forms and financial support to traders are some of his interventions in the constituent.
He has however promised to leave no stone unturned in driving home dividends of democracy to his teaming constituent via responsive legislative representation.
Speaking during the commissioning, the APC Apex Leader and a former council chairman, Prince S.O. Aina, eulogized the lawmaker for his human-centric representation and how he has continuously attract life changing projects to the constituent. He urges him to continue in his humane activities.
